ALTCEW Logo Serving seniors and people with disabilities ages 18 and older living at home in Spokane, northern Ferry, Pend Oreille, Stevens and Whitman counties. 
  We educate our clients in preparedness for emergencies, identify high risk clients and develop plans for contacting them in an emergency, participate on the Disaster Preparedness for Special Needs Committee and the Region 9 Healthcare Coalition, and coordinate with organizations to serve our clients in the event of an emergency or disaster.

We strive to educate people who have a hearing loss and organizations that provide services to them about preparedness for emergencies and how to accommodate those who have a hearing loss;  inform the same about how to ensure that they have access to emergency information when it is announced; participate in the Disaster Preparedness for Special Needs Committee, SDEM and EAS to continue ensuring access to information in the event of an emergency or disaster.
